At the end of the week, my eyes were open greatly. I was very appreciative of what I saw and what I did. I came to the conclusion, that service was not something just for the moment, but for a life time. It's something that isin't supposed to help you personally, but those who you've chosen to help. One of the sdult members of our groups told us "Life is service, and serive is life". This stuck to me for a long time becuase it made me evaluate my self and see how much of service I do and how much life is being wasted by not helping those who really need it. Service as a life experience is important becuase it allows you to honor and respect every person who you come in contact with. I have ran into people who are not like me, and I will encounter people like that everyday in life, and service prepares me for that; facing challenges and going outside of my comfort zone.
It is great for my human dignity because I get to show my full potential and my full heart for helping people. When i serve others, it gives me the greatest feeling knowing someone's life has been changed or made better becuase of my gifts and talents that God gave me. While showing my potential, the others do the same, openly and willingly. It also helps becuase we are all made in God's image, and God is all about helping others. It feels great do the service of Jesus!
